The following description refers to the plugin version 1.5.5.

The search plugin JoomSearch extends the standard Joomla! search.

The plugin must be installed within Joomla!'s extension manager. In order for the plugin to be effective it first has to be enabled in the plugin manager and configured according to the desired functionality.
