The JoomJomComments module enables you to integrate the JomComment component with your JoomGallery and use JomComment instead of the JoomGallery's less well equipped native comment functions. After installing the module with the Joomla!-Installer, it will appear as 'JoomJomComments' in your module manager. You will need to activate it and publish it in the desired position.
Please remember to 'Enable support for 3rd party component' in the configuration of JomComment, too. You can find this option within the 'General Settings' there.

If you prefer to allow comments only on individual images, use the positions 'jg_detailbtm' or 'jg_detailpane'. You find more information about the JG module positions here.

Alternatively, to allow comments only on categories, publish the module in the position 'jg_btm_cat'.

To enable comments for images as well as categories, simply copy the module in the module manager.

In addition, you can also allow your users to comment on the frontpage of the gallery. In order to do so, just publish a copy of the module in the position 'jg_btm_gal'.

As the native JoomGallery comment functions become unnecessary when you use JomComment and JoomJomComments, they should be deactivated in the configuration manager:
'User Accesss Rights'-> 'Comments'-> 'Allow Comments'
'Category View'-> 'General Settings'-> 'Show Comments'
