JoomGallery 1.5.7.3 Bugfixrelease

Although we currently primarily concentrate on porting the JoomGallery to Joomla! 1.6/1.7 we don't want to miss the opportunity to publish another bugfix release for the Joomla!-1.5.x-version of the JoomGallery today. It corrects a few minor errors that may occur only in very specific gallery configurations.

We will never tire of pointing out that prior to installation or update of JoomGallery or its extensions a backup of the file system and the database are strongly recommended. The upgrade is either possible via an Autoupdate in the Admin panel of the gallery or you can download the corresponding Zips from our server and install them with the help of the extension manager of Joomla!.

The following bugs were fixed (see also changelog.php in the 'admin' folder of the Zip):

  • The image file names were not correctly build during the upload in the case of using the original image file names.
  • When configuring the users for notifications these were not always properly applied resp displayed.
  • When displaying the images using the pop-up boxes in category view in some cases and contrary to the back end configuration only the images of the displayed page have been taken into account.
